Monday, January 18, 2010

New York Times reporter Dexter Filkins is on the ground in Afghanistan, where gunfighting and explosive attacks by the Taliban rocked Kabul, the capitol city, this morning.

Filkins tells us how this attack fits into the wider war in Afghanistan and whether we can take this as a sign that the Taliban is losing in the countryside and moving into the capitol.
