Miami Mayor on the City's Haitian Community

Miami has been in the national news as the American staging ground for many of the relief efforts in Haiti. We talk to Miami's Mayor Tomas Regalado about his many Haitian constituents.

 

This week we are welcoming public radio station WLRN in South Florida to The Takeaway family.

The issue is that alot of aid has been sent to haiti, and people are tire of the helplessness. That is not racism. Mr. Pitts wants us to be blind to the obvious.
