Yesterday, Gen. David Petraeus appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press" to outline his thoughts on how the U.S.-led coalition can succeed in Afghanistan.
We talk with Ret. Col. Peter Monsoor who worked with Gen. Petraeus in 2007 and 2008. He says that many parts of Petraeus's approach in Afghanistan are similar to what he did in Iraq — down to his schedule. He tells us what yesterday's interview reveals about the future operations in Afghanistan.
