Thank you Luther Keith and Rochelle Riley for presenting a more accurate view of our city on this morning's show. My husband and I have lived and worked here for 25 years and call Detroit our home. We live in a historic district with a strong neighborhood association. Detroit has a vibrant culture and a resilience that is rarely reflected in the media. For example: The Heidelberg Project, Eastern Market, Cass-King-Renaissance, Freedom Fest, Greening of Detroit, Avalon Bakery, etc. Dateline clearly had an agenda to show Detroit in a negative light. By the way, raccoon is not a part of our diet.
