From airlines champing at the bit to get back in the air over western Europe despite Iceland's volcanic ash, to some dirty dealings at Goldman Sachs, questions of risk and risk-taking are dominating the news cycle this week. But what happens if we avoid risk all-together? Is it even possible?
We're joined by John Dickerson, political correspondent for Slate, is writing a series on risk this week.
And John Marchel, gambling aficionado, author, speaker and teacher, tells us that roulette and Wall Street have a lot more in common than you might think.

I would sleep with a stranger.
I moved into the city of Detroit. I have never seen so many perplexed and frightened faces from suburban family and friends.
It was one of the best moves I have ever made and it's exciting to be a part of a city ready, willing, and making changes.
Everyone always tells me that as a young woman my addition to travel in 3rd world countries is a crazy risk. But it has led to to some of the most phenomenal experiences of my life and I wouldn't change it for anything!
Well, I've lived alone in Downtown Newark, NJ for 20 years.... (and no problems, fyi)
One of the biggest risks I see today are my 50+ year old friends who have less than $5,000. in their IRA's and are spending beyond their means. This would keep me up at night, not necessarily a volcano.
