The representative of South Carolina. called the president of the half-black president United States a liar on national television. South Carolina, who refused to take stimulus money from the half black president of the United States, to meet the rapidly expanding unemployment rate. Let’s be honest, didn't Joe Wilson yell liar, when the previous white president of the United States spoke of WMD's and Iraqi ties to 09/11. Mr. Wilson has had similar in the past. He felt that the announcement that former segregationist Strom Thurman had engaged in intimate integration with his former family maid was a smear against Thurman. Even when Mr. Wilson was confronted with the truth that Thurman had indeed fathered a half black child, Mr. Wilson said that it would have been better if the half black woman had remained silent
Race is still a contentious issue in the United States, especially in South Carolina. Mr. Wilson wouldn’t have yelled “Liar!” at any white president of the United States.
