The House Judiciary Committee is holding hearings about the long-term cognitive damage suffered by NFL players as a result of concussions they suffered on the football field. We speak to New York Times reporter Alan Schwarz, along with Dr. Ann McKee, professor of neurology at Boston University, who has studied the brains of several former NFL players.

is there any way i could get Dr. Ann Mckee's email address? I live in Washington. I know of someone who was in a motorcycle accident under the influence with no helment...did not report the accident and later on went to the doctors. The doc didnt know about the accident and diagnosed him with Lou Gehregs disease. He blamed it on the military and now is collected money from the army for a mistake that he made, had nothing to do with the military. and i was wanting to talk to Dr. McKee more about her discovery.

Ann McKee has done great work on the study of CTE, but it was a neuro-pathologist named Bennet Omalu who did the seminal research and discovered the disease. Is he or, his first neurosurgeon supporter, Julian Bailes of West Virginia Univ. to testify on Capitol Hill? Ms. McKee and the BU group are the public face of CTE, but don't forget the men who first found out about CTE and whose research was vehemently denied by the NFL.
