Gee. What exactly did Bill Clinton's impeachment have to do with this discussion? Was that really "kinda there" for this mix?
But I may never know, since I might not tune in again. For that kind of "fair and balanced" commentary I can find other channels...
(But I'll miss Celeste again, as I have since she left Detroit...)
Only on The Takeway would you see healthcare, baseball and job advice on the same line. ROFL! Making sure they sprinkle the mind-numbing substances to lessen the pain of the harsh reality of this nightmare we're living in.
Our own Todd Zwillich notes:
Yes, I got the date of Thanksgiving wrong! Oops! I do have an excuse. For years I lived in Canada, where Thanksgiving comes in early October. Ever since, I get confused each year about where Thanksgiving falls. But really, it's no excuse. I regret the error. Still, the principle is the same: if the Senate puts a health bill on the floor next week, it will still hang out there for a week over Thanksgiving while senators are home. And that just gives opponents a free chance to criticize it and pick it apart like they did in August.
