Nate Silver and his FiveThirtyEight.com blog, gained prominence during the 2008 election, when his predictions came closer to the outcome than what any seasoned pollster or pundit had forecast. Now he’s turned his talents toward the Oscar nominees. The Takeaway checks in with Silver for a glimpse inside his crystal ball.
