Dancing with the Stars is gearing up for its 9th season and while it doesn't begin until September 21st, the drama has already started. Yesterday the show announced the latest contestants who will be vying for the treasured mirror ball trophy. Among the contestants are former teen heartthrob Donny Osmond, former Teenage Witch Melissa Joan Hart, and former Republican Majority Leader Tom DeLay. Wow you guys are really angry about a funny interview. Go take your pitchforks and torches over to Dancing with the Stars, not the people reporting on it.
After watching PBS' "Watergate +30 yrs", during the night, how appropriate to listen to another crook who should be in jail--Has anything changed? what's changed?--Oh yes, the public absolutely accepts the dictates of the masters now, whether it be war, corrupt contractors, insurance, market speculators, banks, oil--did I leave anything out? it's worse, at least there was shock at the plumbers' actions and the WH's response-- now it would be lauded. How many rightists are yet to fill the airwaves with "we wuz robbed", whether as the majority or minority, by the media who panders to and fears them --(or is them??--excuse the english.)

I was appalled by your interview with former Rep. Tom DeLay. This man is under indictment and was linked to a crass unprecedented congressional pay-to-play scheme, and you're all giggly over his appearance on 'Dancing With the Stars.'(How does his wife feel about his hot dancing partner? Is he a little country? Please.) I was tempted to turn off this drivel, but listened to the whole thing to see if my initial disgust would be justified. It was. You have a precious resource in airtime, and if you want to do human interest, please put the emphasis on 'human' in the future. Surely there is a subject out there far more deserving of your interest, and your listeners'.
