We have nothing to fear but… the economy, not terrorism

Monday, October 20, 2008

Since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, many Americans have equated fear with terrorist acts. But new research shows that a greater fear has finally trumped terror: the current financial crisis.

It will be interesting to see if the survey results back up the study's hypothesis. I look forward to future interviews on the subject, the results, and especially solutions on how to change public perception.

Dr. Burns' research is a sign of a failing government. There is no longer trust in any area of our nations leaders: be it government, corporations, or financial head honchos. I look forward to hearing from Dr. Burns again for his further research.

Because the surveys have been collected twice during the economic turmoil, it will be very interesting to hear again from William Burns after the other surveys have been evaluated.
