Thanks for this discussion. I want to ask your guest if she has looked at the effect of overscheduling childhood today.It used to be that children had chores and some responsibilities but that they had daydreaming time as well especially in the long summer vacation from school. It appears to me that so much of what we become in our adult lives can be born in childhood daydreaming and self- directed play. I am afraid for the current generation of children who have their time so scheduled for them that even their summer vacations are filled to the brim with activities someone else is directing.
