Go here http://kuow.org/program.php?id=15204 to listen to a "an oldie but good" -- John interviewing George Carlin on the "ahead of its time" "cutting edge" (to use some of MY favorite annoying phrases...) program, HEAT in 1990.
Enjoy!
Professor Carlin was as much an educator as a comedian. I grew up with him (from a distance) and he taught me how to "think outside the box" and to view pretty much everything from the flip side.
George will be missed. The world needs more like him. Keep 'em coming!
Carlin will be missed. My opinion of his best shtick was the comparison of baseball vs. football. Great observations and as usual, on target presentation and timing.
