My first car was a tiny 1970 Fiat 850 Sports Coupe. I'm 6 foot one inch tall and barely fit into the car with my head hitting the roof. But it was an Italian sport car and I loved the vehicle as I was the king of the road shutting down Volkswagen Beetls at every stop light. Unfortunately the car faded away into a pile of rust.
What clever vulgar innuendo. Is John channeling Stern again? Anyway, your smug reporting that SUV drivers were (tee hee hee) stupidly driving 4x4’s to be cool missed the real reason. The SUV was the logical advancement over the mini-van in the safety arms’ race. Ask anyone who considered their first SUV purchase and see if you don’t find that “size matters” (happy John? Can I write for you now?). People bought large SUVs believing the higher profile and increased mass made them safer. See, the public (including your ex-listeners) is actually just a bit smarter than you guy’s think. You should get out more. Gary
