Will Smith's conflicted, alcoholic superhero “Hancock” hits the big screen this holiday weekend. To help review the film, the Takeaway talks to Jeffrey Roberson, a hero who has a lot in common with Hancock.

As an alternative (since I'm a New Yorker), I'll see "The Wackness" which is in limited release.

I don't think this is a film I'd see because Will Smith tried to hard to be liked, and, due to the film's harsh reviews, the premise sounds like something Kevin Smith of the View Askew comedies (the Clerks films, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) should have handled, due to his comic book fanboy sensiblities.
