GM's Saturn may be getting the boot

Saturn, GM's star brand, has not lived up to its promise.
General Motors launched its Saturn brand in 1990, pitching it as much more than just a car. Using tactics like clever commercials and mass-gatherings of Saturn owners, GM bet big on Project Saturn. But with the auto industry in tatters, it's become clear that Saturn hasn't lived up to its promise. GM says it is exploring other alternatives for its rapidly falling star brand. The Takeaway talks to Micheline Maynard, a Detroit-based business correspondent with the New York Times.
