A federal fisheries panel has shut down all commercial salmon fishing in the ocean off Oregon and California. It is being called "the most restricted salmon season ever on the West Coast."
The ban was put into place after the King salmon count plummeted without explanation. Commercial fisherman and tour operators have found their livelihoods imperiled. Scott Howard shares how.
